La Pagode de Chanteloup invites you to Rendez-vous aux jardins 2026

For the Rendez-vous aux jardins 2026, the Pagode de Chanteloup opens its doors for a weekend of discovery, entertainment and exploration. Under the national theme of sight, this event offers a varied program for young and old, combining historical heritage, biodiversity and optical games.

On the program:


Saturday June 6 only:

Model shipbuilding 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In partnership with the Radio Modèle Club Tourangeaux des Électriciens et Gaziers (RMCTEG), a local association, admire model boats and immerse yourself in the world of model shipbuilding, in front of the Pagode.


Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7 :

Immerse yourself in the history of the estate

Guided tours for the general public (in French) at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Step back in time with our passionate guides, who will tell you the fascinating story of the Chanteloup estate, from the XVIᵉ century to the present day. From the ambition to the exile of the Duc de Choiseul, discover the secrets of this place steeped in history.

Discover the park’s natural treasures

Question-and-answer tour of the flora and fauna at 4 p.m.

Mikaël Boisgard, in charge of green spaces, will share his expertise and answer your questions about the upkeep of the 14-hectare park, its plant and animal species.

Flash tours of the Chinese garden (15 min, in French and English) – continuous

Did you know that a Chinese garden is hiding in the Loire Valley? Inspired by the Anglo-Chinese garden commissioned by the Duc de Choiseul, the Fu Xi garden will reveal its symbols, principles and exotic species.

Optical illusions tour

Let yourself be surprised by a fun, interactive tour specially designed for the event. A visual experience not to be missed!

Herbarium trail for children

Younger visitors can set off on an adventure with their herbarium, in search of the park’s emblematic plants. A fun way to learn about local biodiversity.
